Nokia 23 now available for India for Rs 8,199: Three things you need to know
Nokia recently unveiled its new entry-level Nokia 2.3 smartphone that features modest specifications. It was announced at an event in Cairo but now, the smartphone maker has launched it in India. The handset runs on Android 9, sports a 6.2-inch display and comes equipped with a dedicated Google Assistant button. In India, the handset falls under the 10k bracket, which means it goes up against the Realme 5, Redmi 8 and other phones in the same price range. Here are three new things you need to know about the new Nokia smartphone.
Nokia 2.3 specificationsThe Nokia 2.3 comes equipped with a 6.2-inch display that features a 720 x 1520 pixel resolution and a 19:9 display aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC and comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of a microSD card. The Nokia 2.3 is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, comes with a micro USB. It weighs 183 grams.
Nokia 2.3 camera detailsIn terms of optics, the Nokia 2.3 gets a dual rear camera setup with 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s a 5MP shooter on the front. HMD Global is also boasting of a Recommended Shot feature that takes 15 images before and after shutter press and then selects the best shot. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie and the company says it is upgradable to Android 10.
Nokia 2.3 price and availability detailsThe Nokia 2.3 is priced at Rs 8,199 for the sole 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. It will be available for purchase from December 27 via the Nokia online shop, and offline from Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C and MyG.
The company is offering benefits of up to Rs 7,200 for Jio subscribers who purchase the Nokia 2.3. The benefit will be available when recharging with plans priced at Rs 249 and Rs 349 and the overall benefit includes Rs 2,200 cash-back, Rs 3,000 cleartrip vouchers and a discount of Rs 2,000 on Zoomcar. This offer is applicable for new as well as existing Jio subscribers.
