Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite specs leak ahead of official launch
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has been in the rumour mill for a while now. Samsung is expected to launch the Lite variants of both its 2019 flagships soon. Leaks and rumours have revealed the internal specifications such as processor and camera resolution of the smartphone already. Now, Galaxy S10 Lite specifications have reportedly leaked online.
The latest development comes from WinFuture website. The report claims that Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will feature a 6.7-inch 1080x2400 Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone design has already leaked and it is supposed to have a centrally aligned punch-hole for the selfie shooter.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset in all regions including Europe - unlike what happened with the Galaxy S10 and S10+. The phone is expected to come equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD card of up to 1TB capacity.
On the optics front, as per the report, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will sport a 48MP primary camera with OIS and an f/2.0 aperture. The OIS functionality is claimed to be a bit different than the usual as Samsung is said to be coming up with something called "tilt-OIS", which it will market as "tOIS." It is said to allow the lens in front of the camera sensor to tilt a few degrees in different directions to compensate for a user’s hand movements. The primary camera could be accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP dedicated macro snapper with an f/2.4 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could pack a 4500mAh battery, which is said to have support for 45W fast charging. The price of Galaxy S10 Lite was also reportedly leaked, and it could cost consumers 669 Euros (Rs 52,500 approx).
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite was also spotted on Geekbench a couple of months back. The smartphone managed 724 points in the single-core department and 2,604 in the multi-core test, which is higher than both Exynos and Snapdragon version of the regular Galaxy S10. The smartphone is expected to be made available in ‘‘Prism’ colours, like the Prism Black, Prism Blue, and Prism White. The handset is rumoured to be launched soon.
