Xiaomi to Unveil 6.9" Mi Max 3 with 5500 mAh Battery on 19 July

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3, the successor to the Mi Max 2 will be launched on the 19th of July and is expected to come with a taller display, leading to a bigger screen than what its predecessor featured. New leaked retail boxes of the smartphone have been ousted, along with the teaser of the smartphone, just so you know what kind of things to expect from the upcoming device.

Mi Max 3: Retail Boxes Leaked, New Teaser

Sure enough, the Mi Max 3 is written on the retail boxes, along with some key specifications of the smartphone as well. The screen size of 6.9 inches has been confirmed and so has the aspect ratio of 18:9. The resolution is going to measure at 2160 x 1080, meaning that the smartphone will have the same tall displays as the rest of the devices that Xiaomi has been launching for several months now.

Mi Max 3: Specifications, Features

The Mi Max 3 will have a 6.9-inch full HD+ IPS panel with a 2160 x 1060 resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. While the display size will be bigger than the Mi Max 2, the phablet itself isn’t going to be very different in terms of physical size and as we mentioned earlier, it is because of the taller display that you can see in the teaser image shown above.
The hardware specifications of the Mi Max 3 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM will power the standard smartphone. The phablet will also feature a dual-camera 12 + 5MP setup at the back. The sensors will be backed by AI-powered features like intelligent scene recognition and Portrait mode. The front of the large-screen device will have an 8MP selfie camera with AI Face Unlock and AI Portrait mode features too.
The most notable feature of the device would definitely be the battery. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will pack a massive 5500mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone will also have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster with the OS running on the phone being Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.5.
There is also going to be a more powerful variant called the Mi Max 3 Pro. This version is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The rest of the key specifications of the Mi Max 3 Pro are going to be similar to the Mi Max 3.

Mi Max 3: Expected Price in India

While the pricing of the smartphone in India is yet to be confirmed, the Mi Max 3 could cost Rs. 17999 for the lowest possible price in the country.
